Antique Art Deco Diamond Maltese Cross Pendant Charm Dangler

This lovely Art Deco pendant depicting a diamond Maltese cross was hand crafted around 1920, most likely in England. It is not hallmarked and tests 18 karat gold, overlayed with platinum. Set with a central old mine cut diamond and further twelve old European single cut diamonds in the arms of the cross, it has lovely chasing of laurel leaves in surround. This twinkly diamond pendant is beautifully made and is of excellent workmanship and fine quality, with lovely detail. The centre diamond is estimated to weigh 0.38 carats and the remainder 0.20 carats, making the estimated total 0.58 carats.

The cross measures 15.8 mm in diameter and the total length of the pendant with the platinum bale is 22 mm. It weighs 2.9 grams and is in lovely antique condition.
