Antique Austrian Est. 1.70 Carats Old Mine Cut Diamond Dormeuse Earrings

We are smitten with these antique Austrian old mine cut diamond dormeuse earrings ! They have an estimated total carat weight of 1.70 carats of the most gorgeous diamonds and they look so so beautiful on. They are so incredibly chic!! 

We love this style of earrings for their heirloom, timeless and supremely elegant look. These are an exceptionally beautiful example of the Austrian dormeuse earrings. The sparkly diamonds sit just below your earlobe like brightly lit stars illuminating your face. They suit every face shape and are super flattering. They are super comfortable to wear, have very secure fittings. What we really adore is that they dress you up with effortless grace, way beyond just elegant and stylish. Stunning !

The earrings are set with dazzling old mine cut diamonds with early 19th century cuts, done by hand, with large culets and high domed tables. They are divine! Estimated H and J colour and VVS clarity they have a total estimated weight of 1.70 carats. The diamonds at the bottom are estimated to weigh 0.78 carats each while the top stones are estimated at 0.07 carats each. 

The earrings date from around 1922. They are hand crafted in 18 karat mellow yellow gold with the orb shape settings in silver. They are hallmarked with the Austrian hallmark used from 1922. The total length of the earrings from the top of the wire is 16.8 mm. The diamond sections are 11.4 mm long and 7.4 mm wide max. They weigh a very comfortable 2.8 grams together and are in superb antique condition.
