Antique Blue Zircon Platinum Charm Pendant Dangler

Blue zircons are gorgeous, natural gemstones that sparkle like blue diamonds. Zircon is a Birthstone for the month of December. 

This lovely little zircon pendant was made in the Art Deco period, around 1920, when blue zircons reached the hight of their popularity. Is is not hallmarked and tests platinum. The lovely zircon is set in a fine spectacle setting. 

The zircon is beautifully cut with a stunning, sparkly mid-blue colour of the sunshiny summer skies. It is cut just like an old cut oval diamond would be and is in great condition, with no rubbing to the stone's facets. The zircon measures 7.56 by 5.24 mm with 3.94 mm depth and is estimated to weigh 1.61 carats. The pendant is in lovely antique condition.
