Antique Continental Natural 3 Stone Sapphire Band Stacking Ring

This lovely sapphire three stone half hoop ring is the Continental European take on a much loved English classic.

Hand crafted around 1900-1910 in buttery yellow gold, it features a streamlined design with a wide band. Open back claw settings house three stunning, bright blue natural sapphires, checked by an FGA qualified gemologist. Their estimated total weight is 1.80 carats. The sapphires are lovely and bright, with a great cornflower blue tone and lustre. They are in lovely condition. The shank of the ring is stamped 585 for 14 karat gold. The ring is a US size 4-4.25 or UK H 1/2-I and is re-sizeable a little. The top of the ring measures 15.5 mm side to side and 4.6 mm north to south. The back of the band measures 3.1 mm wide. It sits 2.4 mm off the top of the finger, lovely low and smooth. It is in very good antique condition.
