Antique Vienna Austro Hungarian 800 Silver Extender Chain With Oversized Bolt A

This solid 800 silver chain was used as a gentleman's watch chain when first made in Vienna, Austro Hungarian Empire. It has a lovely set of hallmarks dating it from 1922, when we think this chain was made.

This gorgeous chains has a fantastic, flat link. It is now fashionably repurposed as an extender for a unique necklace that you can create by mixing and matching it with your other gold or silver chains. All you need to do is experiment with different looks and enjoy ! The moody colour of the antique patina on this chain is wonderful but if you prefer a lighter silver look it can easily be buffed with a sliver polishing cloth. The links are super wide, graduating very slightly from a fantastic 8.2 mm down to 7.8 mm in width. This chain is 12.5 inches long including the dog clip and an oversized bolt clasp. The clasp measures 22.9 mm outside diameter. The chain weighs 26.3 grams and is in great antique condition.
