Art Deco Platinum Natural Seed Pearl Station Chain Necklace
This gorgeous seed pearl and platinum stations chain is just the most charming of platinum necklaces. Refined and elegant, the beautiful pairing of cool platinum and velvety sheen of white pearls is classic and stylish, divine !
The necklace is not hallmarked and tests platinum. The bolt clasp has 18 karat yellow gold pip and spring, as they always are in antique platinum chains and it functions perfectly. It was made in the beginning of the 20th century, sometime around 1915-1920. It features an ultra fine, delicate, cable link that will go with absolutely any pendant or charm from that era and of course the necklace can be worn alone. The chain is 17 inches long, weighs 2.6 grams and the link is a dainty 0.96 mm in width. It looks ever so delicate but being platinum it is sturdy and safe to be enjoyed. It has six natural seed pearls spaced through the chain, even in size. They measure between 2.72 and 2.92 mm in diameter. The pearls are lovely, lightly silvery white, even in colour and beautifully lustrous with soft satin sheen. They are in wonderful condition as is the whole necklace.
Pearls are a June Birthstone and a 30th Wedding Anniversary gift. Perfect and traditional for your wedding day.
We love ...... this fine and delicate pearl and platinum creation. It is just so special... a truly exquisite gem to have.
