Art Nouveau 14K Bi Colour Heavy Gold Signet Ring

This beautiful quality, wonderfully chunky and weighty Art Nouveau signet ring was made around 1890-1900. 

It is not hallmarked and tests 14 karat gold. This heavy gold ring has a classic, superbly chunky shape, just exactly what we like in a signet ring. It weighs a luxurious 15.4 grams. It has that highly desired antique heirloom look, just very gently worn around the edges. That look is something that can only be achieved by a hundred or more years of being loved, just beautiful. The face of the ring, which measures 15.50 by 18.88 mm features a beautiful, deep floral relief around smoothly polished oval centre. This can be engraved if you wish and actually shows very faint signs of it being engraved in the past and subsequently polished smooth. 

This stunning ring is hand crafted in 14 karat rose gold and has a gorgeous laurel leaf decoration on the shoulders done in bright, buttery yellow gold. This two tone colour accents the fabulous engraving in deep relief. The shoulders smoothly flow into a wide band at the back which is 5.44 mm wide. The total width across the finger including the shoulders and looking from the top is 23 mm inches. It is size US 8 5/8 to 8 7/8 or UK R to R 1/2. The ring sits 3.54 mm off the top of your finger. Changing the size of it to larger would be a bit of a tricky undertaking due to the sheer thickness of the gold shank but it can easily be adjusted to fit a smaller size by inserting some gold balls on the inside bottom of the shank. 

This opulent ring can be worn both by ladies and gents and looks and feels fabulous on, silky and smooth. It feels expensively weighty and has the most elegant, fantastic quality feel about it a good signet ring ought to have.
