Est 4.84 Ct GIA No Heat Burma Sapphire Diamond Art Deco Pendant

A divine natural Burma sapphire and diamond pendant.

No heat Burma sapphires are among most valuable and highly regarded gems, this one is just beautiful! The gemstone has a GIA certificate stating the origin of the sapphire as Burma (Myanmar) and that no indications of heat treatment are observed. The stone is a lively and sparkly mid light blue colour that says "I am special" ! It measures 12.40 by 8.30 mm with a depth of 4.65 mm and is estimated to weigh 4.30 to 5.37 carats, we give the middle figure as 4.84 carats. 

This gorgeous gem is set in 18 karat yellow gold bezel setting with diamond top. The diamonds are set in 18 karat white gold over yellow gold settings. The two diamonds at the top are beautiful old mine cut stones with a total estimated weight of 0.06 carats. The fluted, floral part above the sapphire is set with white and bright antique single cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.07 carats. The pendant is not hallmarked so the precious metals have been tested. It was hand crafted in the Art Deco period. 

We absolutely adore the colour of the sapphire and its gorgeous, lively sparkle. It has some small natural inclusions but these cannot be seen when worn, they do add a rainbow coloured glow to this gem. The pendant measures 45.6 x 9.4 mm including the bale and weighs 2.84 grams. The overall condition, including all the gemstones is wonderful.
