Mid Century 21 Inch 9K Yellow Gold Chain Necklace

This fantastic gold chain was made around 1950-50 in a Mid-Century stylised box link design. 

It is crafted in a deep, buttery yellow 9 karat gold. It is hallmarked with 375 for English 9 karat gold on the original clasp, we also tested the main body of the chain tested to confirm the gold content. 

The links are a very attractive, closely knit, rounded, elongated box link design and are 1.4 mm wide. The chain is a fantastic length of 21 inches and it weighs 5.7 grams. It is elegantly styled, suitable for everyday wear alone and with and with larger, heavier pendants too. It is in great vintage condition.
