Vintage English 9K Gold St Christopher Pendant

According to legend, following his conversion to Christianity Saint Christopher devoted his life to carrying travellers across a river. Among them was a young boy who turned out to be Jesus Christ. Saint Christopher became a patron of travellers and is a revered and much loved Christian saint. 

Our Saint Christopher pendant was made in Birmingham, England in 1986. It is fully hallmarked with an anchor stamp for Birmingham, "375" for English 9 karat gold and a maker's mark "RJC" on reverse. The pendant is a lovely size. The rich, yellow gold oval measures 27.9 by 20mm and its total length with the bale is 35 mm. It weighs 3 grams and is in great vintage condition with a lovely gold patina.
